In a surprising revelation, Jax Taylor, star of 'Vanderpump Rules,' delved into his journey of self-discovery and mental health, admitting he found out his behaviors were synonymous with narcissism while in rehab.

AceShowbiz - Jax Taylor, known for his dramatic role in "Vanderpump Rules," candidly discussed his diagnosis and self-reflection journey on his podcast "When Reality Hits." During a 30-day stay at a mental health facility, Taylor confronted some hard truths about himself, primarily identifying with several narcissistic behaviors.

Speaking frankly with his listeners, Taylor admitted, "I am a narcissist, yes. I breadcrumb, I love bomb [and also] gaslighting. I'm missing some but I do all these things. I had no idea there were terms for these things." This recognition came as Taylor was going through a turbulent period marked by his separation from wife Brittany Cartwright.

The reality TV star described his enlightening yet challenging journey inside the treatment facility. He spent extensive hours in therapy each day, which was initially unnerving, but the structured environment proved beneficial for his mental health. "I got there, I f***ing hated it and... then I loved it," he recounted on his podcast.

Importantly, Taylor was not officially diagnosed with narcissistic personality disorder but was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and PTSD. "I am not a doctor, so I can't say that for sure," he acknowledged. His assertion of narcissism stems from his alignment with behaviors described by various terms he had learned during therapy.

Taylor's admission of narcissistic behaviors sparked conversations about accountability and the impact these behaviors had on those around him. "I was never held accountable for my actions for many, many years until recently p until people have had enough," he said. He admitted that his estranged wife, Brittany Cartwright, had been one of those affected, begging him to seek help for his anger issues for a long time.

Leaving the treatment center, Taylor was filled with apprehension about returning to his life and facing the public's scrutiny. "I was so sad leaving. I was crying, I'm like 'I don't want to go,' " he shared. Yet, the prospect of reuniting with his three-year-old son, Cruz, provided solace and motivation, marking an emotional highlight in his journey.

Jax Taylor's story is a profound reminder of the importance of mental health and seeking help, breaking down the stigma associated with it. Through his journey, Taylor hopes to break the cycle for future generations, specifically his son, by creating an environment where asking for help is encouraged.
