AceShowbiz - Liam Gallagher has taken ownership of initiating the recent conversation with brother Noel Gallagher that ultimately led to the announcement of an Oasis reunion tour for 2025. The brothers hadn't spoken since the band's split in 2009, with Noel famously declaring his inability to work with Liam any longer.
In response to a fan's query on X (formerly Twitter), Liam revealed, "I called him but don't tell anyone as I don't want folk thinking I'm a soft lad and stuffs keep it between me n you cheers x."
According to Liam, he decided to make the first move after Noel repeatedly stated that he wanted them to reunite but never actually called. In an interview from 2023, Noel had said, "He's going to have to call me. He's going to have to get somebody to call me because he's been going on about it for the last f**king 10 [years] or whatever it is and you know, he doesn't want it. He knows that neither of us are particularly interested in it."
The announcement of the Oasis reunion has garnered immense excitement among fans. The tour, dubbed "Oasis Live '25," will feature performances in Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin. Following the overwhelming demand for tickets, the band added two extra shows at London's Wembley Stadium. Fans eagerly await the results of a lottery system that will give them a chance to purchase tickets.
