AceShowbiz - Kristin Cavallari has taken different opinions lightly. The former contestant on dance competition "Dancing with the Stars" laughed off criticisms from social media users for sharing her thoughts on Botox.
On Wednesday, September 11, the 37-year-old reality TV star made use of Instagram Stories to reveal that she received protests for calling Botox "harmful." In a short clip, it could be seen that she was calmly explaining her view while talking to the camera.
Kristin said, "I've started a mess in my DMs," before bursting into laughter. She went on to spill, "Women are so passionate and I love it. Listen... at the end of the day, you do what works for you. Botox is not for me, but a lot of you look really great with it and if you want to get it, get it."
Kristin elaborated, "I hate to always be bashing Botox, but I just personally have always taken the stance that... something you're injecting in your face to freeze your muscles cannot be good for you." She further stated, "I don't care what anybody says, that's just common sense."
In a follow-up Story, Kristin stressed, "And this is NOT to defend me getting my boobs done, but I did 8 years ago. I've taken my health up a notch and have even thought about taking them out. I sometimes wonder if my decision to get them would be different today."
This was not the first time Kristin publicly talked about Botox. In March 2023, she claimed that she has been avoiding Botox because she wanted to embrace her age lines. She shared, "My lines don't bother me. You can see them here on my forehead."
Kristin additionally stated, "I'm extremely animated so I would lose a lot of my expression if I got Botox." She continued, "I'm happier at age 36 than I ever have been and my lines mean I've lived and have experience which I love."
