AceShowbiz - Charlie Puth is apparently a married man now. The singer/songwriter, who recently received a boost from Taylor Swift on her song "The Tortured Posts Department", has reportedly married his fiancee Brooke Sansone.
According to some eyewitnesses, the pair allegedly tied the knot quietly over the weekend at his parents' house in Montecito. The news surfaced on Tuesday, September 10 after DeuxMoi shared the juicy information from at least two anonymous tipsters.
"Apparently Charlie Puth is a married man now over the weekend," someone wrote to the celebrity blogger. Another then confirmed the news, adding, "can confirm-he got married at his parents house in montecito. I ran by lol."
Neither Charlie nor his alleged new wife has confirmed the marriage report. The singer/songwriter began dating Brooke, who is his childhood friend, in 2022. They made their relationship Instagram official in December of the same year and announced their engagement on September 7, 2023.
"I flew to New York to ask my best friend to marry me, and she said yes," the 32-year-old musician revealed on their joint Instagram post at the time. "I am the happiest, best version of myself and it is all because of you Brookie. I love you endlessly forever and ever and ever." Along with it, he shared photos of them celebrating with pizza and Diet Cokes at Brooklyn eatery Lucali, with Brooke's diamond ring on display.
A few months after his proposal, Charlie admitted that wedding planning was "more intense" than going on tour. "I like to keep some things in the confines of our home, of course, because stuff gets out so easily. Planning a wedding is a lot like planning a tour. It's probably even more intense," he told PEOPLE magazine in December.
The "We Don't Talk Anymore" hitmaker, who had been friends with Brooke for years before they started dating, also confided that he already felt like he has a second family. He said, "I've known her. I mean, she grew up one town over from me in New Jersey, and my parents know her parents."
