AceShowbiz - Andrew Garfield, fresh from his starring role in "We Live In Time", has addressed persistent rumors about his possible return as Spider-Man in the upcoming "Spider-Man 4" Speaking to IndieWire, Garfield downplayed the speculation, stating that the internet is filled with people who "will just say anything to get clicks."
Despite Garfield's denial, he has expressed openness to reprising the role in the future. "I think it's kind of endless, what can be done with that character," he said. However, he emphasized that he would only return for a compelling story.
Garfield also reunited with his "Boy A" director John Crowley for "We Live In Time", a romantic comedy co-starring Florence Pugh. The film follows a decades-long romance after a meet-cute car accident, but it takes a poignant turn when Pugh's character receives a sobering medical diagnosis.
Beyond superhero fare, Garfield recently wrapped filming Luca Guadagnino's "After the Hunt," an intense dramatic thriller. He praised Guadagnino's genius and described the film as a powerful and challenging work. Garfield particularly commended his co-star Julia Roberts, calling her a "full-blown legend."
"We Live in Time" premiered in theaters on October 11.
