AceShowbiz - Blueface's new mugshot has been released as he serves his 4-year prison sentence. The 27-year-old rapper looked drastically different in the new photo, which was taken nearly eight months after he was taken into custody.

The Los Angeles native is almost unrecognizable in the mugshot, which was obtained and published by TMZ on Friday, September 6. He cut his hair shorter and sports thin facial hair. His textured skin is apparent while he has seemingly gained weight as his cheeks look chubbier than before.

According to the site, Blueface, whose real name is Johnathan Jamall Porter, has been transferred from the Men's Central Jail in downtown Los Angeles to serve his 4-year prison sentence. The new mugshot was taken on Thursday, September 5 as he entered general population at the medium custody facility.

At his medium custody facility, the "Thotiana" hitmaker will have a lineup of potential jobs and classes ahead, all aimed at prepping him for life after prison. The facility offers educational and vocational opportunities to help him land on his feet when he gets out, though he will likely resume his already-solid music career upon his release.

NKSP staff will help him find suitable work and other vocational and educational services to occupy his time behind bars. Blue can also dive into religious services, self-help groups and substance abuse programs. Additionally, educational programs like Adult Basic Ed, High School/GED prep, and English as a Second Language Bridging Education are available.

Despite the opportunities offered by the facility, people couldn't help but notice Blue already looks less tidy since he's placed behind bars. "Look like he did the 4 year already," someone weighed in. Another claimed, "His aura getting dark."

A third trolled him, "N***a look like he ain't take a shower in 3 months." Someone said, "The water in jail done change his hair texture," while a fifth added, "Omg jail whooping him. His skin and hair. He don't even look the same! why everyone get chunky in the slammer."

Others commented on Blue's apparent weight gain. "He ain't missin' no meals," someone quipped. Another speculated, "He normal size now that he not on drugs." Other similar comments read, "That boy in there eating good!!! I thought prison food was nasty??" and "I feel like skinny guys always gain weight in jail and the chubby guys come out more skinny lol why."

Blueface turned himself in on January 12 after violating one or more of the terms of his probation in his 2021 club beatdown assault case in Los Angeles. In August, he was sentenced to four years in prison.

Following his sentencing, his father expressed his disappointment. "They gave him four years," Johnathan Porter Sr. said, visibly distressed in a video shared as he drove away from the courthouse.

However, his manager Wack 100 gave a positive insight into Blue's situation. Citing the 400-plus days already served, Wack 100 explained, "He'll be home in nine to ten months."
