Rapper Blueface, known for his hit single 'Thotiana,' has been sentenced to four years in prison for violating his probation, leaving fans and loved ones reeling from the news.

AceShowbiz - Blueface, the Los Angeles rapper whose real name is Johnathan Porter, has officially received a four-year prison sentence. The news was first confirmed by his father, Johnathan Porter Sr., and his manager, Wack 100, through social media posts.

This sentencing stems from a 2021 incident where Blueface assaulted a security guard at Skinny's Lounge in San Fernando Valley after being denied entry for not having proper identification.

The rapper's father shared the news on Instagram, expressing his disdain for the judge's decision. "They gave him four years," Porter Sr. said, visibly distressed in a video shared as he drove away from the courthouse.

Addressing fans before the sentencing, Porter Sr. had asked for prayers and support for his son, hopeful for a lenient resolution. Unfortunately, fate had other plans.

Manager Wack 100 provided some clarity regarding the sentence's duration, indicating that Blueface will not serve the full four years. Citing the 400-plus days already served, Wack 100 explained, "He'll be home in nine to ten months."

Blue's sentence was effectively reduced to three years with time served and is expected to be further reduced due to good behavior. This means the rapper could potentially be released within the next year.

This recent legal trouble isn't Blueface's first. Earlier this year, he was sentenced to probation with a suspended two to five-year prison sentence for his involvement in a shooting at a Las Vegas strip club. The judge had outlined strict conditions, including abstaining from alcohol and drugs, which Blueface breached. His sentencing had already faced delays due to the judge's surgery.

Adding to the family's woes, Blueface's off-and-on girlfriend, Chrisean Rock, is also facing serious legal issues. Currently incarcerated in Oklahoma on drug charges, she may be looking at an eight-year sentence. Together, they share an 11-month-old son, Chrisean Jr., making the situation even more disheartening for their families.

Blueface's mother, Karlissa Saffold, has been actively advocating for his release, even reaching out to high-profile figures like Kim Kardashian for help. Now, with Blueface sentenced to prison, Saffold's efforts and plans for a welcome home party for her son are delayed indefinitely.

The implications of Blueface's imprisonment have left fans, family, and friends in a state of disbelief, but there remains a glimmer of hope for an early release.
