AceShowbiz - "1000-lb Sisters" star Amy Slaton's sister Amanda breaks her silence after the star was arrested on drug and child endangerment charges. Amanda took to her Facebook account to ask fans to "pray" for her sibling.
"Tonight we pray for the momma who needs to know it's all going to be okay," she wrote in the post. "Lord, she has so many situations where she needs You to intervene, but she has one thing that often comes to the surface of her heart and causes her to question if it really is going to be alright."
Amanda went on saying, "Tonight, we ask You to reminder her that You always work everything out for her good... just because You love her. Quiet every lie that causes her to question Your goodness. Help her believe it's going to be okay. Give her peace. We ask in Jesus's name, Amen."
Amy was arrested on Labor Day alongside Brian Scott Lovvorn, who is facing the same charges. The Crockett County Sheriff's Department said in a statement to PEOPLE that they discovered "what they believed to be mushrooms" and "what they believed to be marijuana" inside Amy's vehicle after smelling marijuana in the car and seeing the drugs out "in plain sight."
Amy and Brian were both arrested and faced charges of illegal possession of schedule I, illegal possession of schedule VI and two counts of child endangerment. They remain in custody with $10,000 bond each.
Her arrest came after an incident at a Tennessee safari park as police were initially called to the Alamo safari park to report that a guest was bitten by a camel. However, the park's management, including owner Jon Conley, denied the claims.
Jon stated that no one had ever been bitten by a camel in the park's history and that Amy's wound was not consistent with a camel bite. He also questioned her ability to recall the location of the alleged bite, adding that no surveillance video could back up her allegation.
