AceShowbiz - Brooke Shields, the renowned actress and model, shared in an interview that her daughter, Grier Henchy, had transformed her first wedding dress into a chic graduation gown. The original ivory satin gown, which Shields wore to marry tennis star Andre Agassi in 1997, was given a modern twist by Grier to suit her own style.

Grier explained the alterations made to the dress, "We had to re-bone it a little bit so it was tight and sleek. We took out all the poof because I didn't want it poofy. And we made it strapless." She paired the elegant gown with pointed-toe pumps, a Van Cleef choker, and circular earrings.

Shields expressed pride and joy in her daughter's choice, saying, "She looked great in it. It's such an honor when they want to wear your stuff. Normally they don't think I'm cool."

Grier's decision to wear her mother's wedding dress not only honored their bond but also represented a sustainable fashion choice. Shields highlighted, "Honestly, they can wear anything because just to have it have another life... you save the stuff and wonder why."

However, not all of Shields' iconic pieces have been repurposed. The supermodel recently auctioned off the jeans she modeled for a legendary 1980 Calvin Klein shoot, with the estimated value reaching $50,000.

Shields and her husband, Chris Henchy, are proud parents to both Grier and Rowan. They met in 2001, the same year Shields and Agassi divorced.
