Channing Tatum's unique approach to avoiding laundry has become a quirky part of Hollywood folklore as the 'Blink Twice' hunk would rather buy new clothes instead of washing them.

AceShowbiz - Channing Tatum's aversion to laundry is legendary. In a candid interview with GQ, the "Blink Twice" star revealed that he loathes doing laundry so intensely that he once went an entire year - dubbed "the year of the fresh white tee" - without washing his clothes. Instead, Tatum continuously bought new white T-shirts every week just to avoid the chore.

"I hate doing laundry," Tatum confessed. "Like I hate it more than I could possibly say." The actor, now 44, noted that this laundry-free period occurred in "1999 or 2000." He proudly reminisced, "I don't think I did laundry all year that year. I just wore white T-shirts that I just bought. I'd be like, 'I can get, like, two wears out of this a week.' "

His T-shirt of choice remains the simple, classic Hanes white tee or a "ribbed" tank top, eschewing the "weird sort-of fitted ones."

To this day, Tatum's preference for white T-shirts is unwavering. He openly shares his love for plain and tattered white shirts, describing them as "just a classic thing." The actor's wardrobe staples also include Carhartt and Dickies pants, which he has favored since he was 18. "You can wear them in a disaster situation or you could wear them while you're painting with your daughter in the backyard," he said. "They're just sort of infallible in my opinion."

Despite his casual fashion inclinations, Tatum has significantly elevated his style during recent press tours. The actor and his fiancee, Zoe Kravitz, made a show-stopping appearance at the Los Angeles premiere of "Blink Twice."

Tatum donned a dapper black suit paired with a crisp white button-down shirt, leaving it slightly unbuttoned and accessorized with a white pocket square. Kravitz, who directed the film, complemented his look in a chic backless black dress with dramatic cutouts at the waist.

Tatum's personal style has been notably influenced by friends and collaborators, including Kravitz. He shared with Jonah Hill in a V Man magazine interview, "Some friends of mine, like you and Zo [Kravitz], were like, 'Why don't you just wear what you wear? Why don't you just be you?' You gave me some very specific style tips."

Beyond fashion, Tatum's list of essentials extends to his dog Cutie, a Polaroid camera, Mezcal tequila, and a photo of his daughter Everly, highlighting a man who cherishes personal connections and simplicity.
