AceShowbiz - Kim Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker played besties in "Sex and the City", but they were ironically feuding off-screen. The tension allegedly began when Parker was given a pay raise for her executive producer role when the show was adapted into a TV show. Cattrall asked for a pay raise, but the request was denied.
At one point, the pair appeared to decide to act civil but the beef was reignited when Cattrall's brother passed away in 2018. After Parker wrote a message in support, Cattrall responded, "My Mom asked me today 'When will that @sarahjessicaparker, that hypocrite, leave you alone?' Your continuous reaching out is a painful reminder of how cruel you really were then and now. Let me make this VERY clear. (If I haven't already) You are not my family. You are not my friend. So I'm writing to tell you one last time to stop exploiting our tragedy in order to restore your 'nice girl' persona."
