AceShowbiz - Usher's "Past Present Future" tour officially commenced on August 20 and 21 with two sold-out performances at Washington D.C.'s Capital One Arena. The launch came after a brief delay due to a neck injury sustained by Usher during rehearsals, which postponed the initial shows in Atlanta.
During his two-hour sets, the multi-award-winning artist showcased a mix of his greatest hits, including "Yeah!", "Confessions", "U Remind Me" and "U Don't Have to Call." He also performed new songs from his album "Coming Home".
On night two of the tour, Usher invited special guests to join him on stage. Rapper Wale delivered performances of "The Matrimony" and "No Hands," R&B singer Raheem DeVaughn sang "You" and E.U.'s Sugar Bear led the crowd with the go-go hit "Da' Butt".
The "Past Present Future" tour continues with two shows at Baltimore's CFG Bank Arena on August 23 and 24. It will then move to major cities like Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York. The tour will return to Atlanta in December for the rescheduled performances on December 9, 10 and 12.
Following the U.S. leg, Usher will take the tour to Europe, beginning with an eight-night residency at London's O2 Arena on March 29, 2025. The European portion will also include performances in Paris, Amsterdam, and Berlin.
In addition to the tour, Usher's concert film "USHER: RENDEZVOUS IN PARIS" is set to be screened in approximately 2,000 theaters worldwide from September 12 to 15, offering fans an immersive experience of his latest work.
