AceShowbiz - Former President Donald Trump addressed the controversy surrounding his use of AI-generated Taylor Swift images in his political campaign, denying knowledge of their origin and claiming he is also affected by AI impersonations. Despite Swift's past criticism of Trump, the images portrayed her and her fans as supporting his campaign.

During an interview with Fox News, Trump dismissed concerns about legal action from Taylor Swift, stating that he had no involvement in creating the images. "I don't know anything about them other than somebody else generated them," he said. However, he expressed concern about the potential dangers of AI, citing his own experiences with fabricated endorsements.

Trump's spokesperson, Steven Cheung, defended the use of the images, asserting that "Swifties for Trump is a massive movement." He also criticized Vice President Kamala Harris, but did not elaborate.

The images, posted on Trump's Truth Social platform, included fake endorsements from Swift and memes referencing her recent concert incident in Vienna. Some of the images were marked as satire.

Swift has not endorsed a candidate for the 2024 presidential election, but she has previously expressed her political views. In her 2020 documentary "Miss Americana", she discussed her endorsement of Phil Bredesen in the 2018 midterm elections and her opposition to Marsha Blackburn.

Swift's publicist warned her about potential retaliation from Trump, but she responded, "I don't care. If I get bad press for saying, 'Don't put a homophobic racist in office,' then I get bad press for that."
