AceShowbiz - Beyonce Knowles apparently doesn't give Donald Trump freedom to use her songs for campaign. According to a new report, the Grammy-winning singer threatens to send a cease and desist to Trump and his team after they used her song "Freedom" in a clip.

The said the presidential race campaign video, posted by Trump campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung posted on Tuesday, August 20, saw the former POTUS getting off a plane in Michigan. A source close to Beyonce revealed to Rolling Stone that the Trump campaign didn't get permission to use the track.

While Beyonce is against Trump using her song for campaign, she previously gave approval for Trump's rival Kamala Harris to use "Freedom" in her campaign. Back in July, CNN reported that Beyonce's team had granted Harris' team permission to use the song throughout her presidential campaign.

It was also reported that the "Lemonade" star was planning to go all out to support Kamala in the 2024 presidential race. "Beyonce has cleared her schedule to attend a Kamala Harris fundraiser," an insider told Daily Mail earlier this month. The pop star reportedly believes the "stakes are too high" to remain silent.

The informant further noted, "She feels the stakes are too high and believes in Kamala’s vision for America," adding that the singer is even set to donate funds towards the campaign. "She has set aside $4 million dollars to donate to the campaign, with plans to donate more if she sees the need to."

Queen Bey, who deliberately took a step back from politics after hosting a fundraising campaign for Barack Obama in 2012 alongside husband Jay-Z, allegedly "decided to step back in after people close to her showed her Project 25." It referred to the radical Project 2025 plan which was developed by allies and former officials as a blueprint for a second Trump administration.Trump and his team, however, dismissed the claim about the plan, which they called "extreme."
