It all started after the X user quote-retweeted a picture of Cardi smiling as her best friend, Star Brim, held the femcee's pregnant belly. "Has Cardi been bleaching her skin?" the user asked.

In response, Cardi fumed, "Bleaching while pregnant?" She went on to rage, "Why must yall be so dumb? Actually NO! I'm pregnant I'm slightly anemic, this baby suckin all the energy off my body to the point I'm pale, eyes sunken, veins green ASF, can't tan under the sun cause I get hot super fast and dizzy... PLEASE STOP THINKIN WITH YOUR A**HOLE!"

Cardi confirmed her pregnancy with her third child on August 1, shortly after filing for divorce from Offset. "With every ending comes a new beginning!" she wrote on Instagram along with pictures from her glamorous maternity photo shoot. "I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power!"

"Reminded me that I can have it all! You've reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion!" the caption continued to read. "I love you so much and can not wait for you to witness what you helped me accomplish, what you pushed me to do! It's so much easier taking life's twists, turns and test laying down, but you, your brother and your sister have shown me why it's worth it to push through!"

While navigating her pregnancy as a single mom, Cardi suffered a health setback as she was hospitalized after a fall that left her paralyzed and almost resulted in miscarriage. The "Bodak Yellow" raptress recently shared details of the accident.

"I was doing so good, like, so good. Exercising, f**king outfits put together, I had so much energy," she said on Instagram Live on August 11. "Now I be in pain like a motherf**ker. I can't f**ling wear heels, I can't f**king stand up, I can't do s**t."
