AceShowbiz - Former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce took to social media to praise his younger brother, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, for his exceptional performance during the team's second preseason game on Saturday, August 17. Jason lauded Travis's behind-the-back pass with quarterback Patrick Mahomes, calling it one of his most enjoyable preseason games.
Mahomes explained that the behind-the-back pass came out of frustration as Travis ran the wrong route. Despite the playfulness, the Chief's lost to the Detroit Lions 24-23.
Jason also praised former teammate Carson Wentz, now a backup for the Chiefs, for completing a touchdown pass during the game. Nate Sudfeld, another ex-Eagle who now plays for the Lions, also had a successful touchdown yesterday.
Meanwhile, Travis Kelce's summer has been filled with both football and off-field ventures. He made a cameo appearance in Taylor Swift's "Eras Tour" and has a upcoming acting role in the series "Grotesquerie".
Despite the Chiefs' loss, Jason Kelce emphasized his unwavering support for his brother and the team. Even when they played against each other in the Super Bowl two years ago, Jason expressed his pride and support for Travis.
The Kelce family's journey to sports stardom has not been without its challenges. Donna Kelce, their mother, admitted that they often worried about finances while raising Jason and Travis to pursue athletic careers. However, their dedication and hard work have paid off, making them both successful athletes and role models for their fans.
