AceShowbiz - In an episode of her "Just B" podcast, Bethenny Frankel expressed her frustration with an unnamed Hamptons restaurant that she believes she popularized. The former star of "The Real Housewives of New York City" claimed to have made a restaurant in the Hamptons famous and is disappointed with their lack of recognition.
She remarked that she made the establishment "viral" and "a destination," despite acknowledging its preexisting success among locals. Frankel criticized the restaurant's expensive menu items and claimed to have gone back seeking acknowledgment but received none.
Frankel alleged that the restaurant's staff had a negative attitude towards outsiders and did not recognize her presence. She compared herself to "the Justin Bieber of this place" but stated that the locals were not impressed.
Frankel has previously made similar complaints about a restaurant called Round Swamp Farm, claiming that their $30-$40 guacamole is "psychotically overpriced." She vowed to avoid the establishment in the future.
In a separate incident, Bethenny Frankel reacted surprisingly to the firing of Sam Ponder from ESPN. Despite having previously criticized Ponder for her role in the cancellation of "Barstool Van Talk", Frankel expressed no ill will towards her. She stated that she had gained respect for Ponder after a confrontational encounter at a restaurant.
