AceShowbiz - Rachael Lillis, the voice of Misty and Jessie on the original "Pokemon" anime, passed away on Saturday, August 10, at the age of 46. Her death was announced by her co-star Veronica Taylor, who voiced Ash Ketchum.
Lillis was diagnosed with breast cancer in May and had been battling the disease courageously. Taylor described her as an extraordinary talent with a bright voice that brought joy to many.

Lillis' legacy extends beyond "Pokemon". She also provided voice work for numerous other anime series, including "Hunter x Hunter", "Revolutionary Girl Utena" and "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles".
