AceShowbiz - Pete Davidson sparked concerns among his friends before he checked himself into a rehab facility recently. A new report stated that the "Saturday Night Live" alum went MIA from work and friends as Hollywood pals turned their backs on him.
"Pete has pretty much gotten rid of everyone who once surrounded him.He got rid of his assistant and best friend after he was the best man at his wedding," a source told The Sun. "He's become a ghost to his circle of friends."
The insider noted that "The Suicide Squad" actor also stopped attending work meetings. "He's he's too much of a headache. He's just really hard to deal with, not showing up to meetings," the informant continued. "At least one project has been canceled because of it."
Pete entered rehab after he split from his most recent girlfriend of one year, Madelyn Cline. Their relationship allegedly just ran its course and the split was "amicable."
A source told PEOPLE on July 31 that the "Bupkis" star admitted himself to a wellness facility to "prioritize" his mental health. "Pete will often check himself into rehab to work on these issues," the informant said of Pete's previous rehab stint. "His friends and family have been supportive during this time."
Pete canceled some scheduled stops for his "Prehab Tour" prior he admitted himself into the facility. Among the canceled shows were stops in Kansas, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, Florida and Texas.
Back in June, Pete checked himself in a Pennsylvania facility after struggling with PTSD and borderline personality disorder. The location is the same facility where his best friend and fellow comedian John Mulaney sought help for drink and drug issues, per Page Six.
"I am fresh out of rehab, everyone," the former boyfriend of Kim Kardashian told the audience during his set after checking out of rehab. "I got that post-rehab glow. Seventh time's the charm!"
