Breaking his silence on the family drama that escalated to a shooting incident in July, the 'Rapstar' emcee also shares his hope that his mother and sister will resolve their issues.

AceShowbiz - Polo G has broken his silence on the family feud that escalated to a point where his mother shot at his sister. During an appearance on "The Breakfast Club", he acknowledged the incident and shared his wish that things don't "go too far."

Speaking to Charlamagne Tha God, Polo said that he will always intervene in situations like that because "I don't want to see that." He claimed will always try to get in between before things "go too far."

This prompted jokes from Charlamagne who pointed out that they were already fighting and shooting at each other. He remarked that since Polo is from Chicago, his definition of "too far" is different from everyone else's, which Polo laughed at.

Co-host DJ Envy then asked Polo if he has started working to help resolve the matter. The Chicago native said he has not brought the two together to talk out their issues yet as he wants to "let it breathe" before attempting to do so.

However, he remains hopeful that his mother and sister will hash out their differences. "Yeah, we family," he said. "Everybody family go through like that," he added, noting that his mother and sister's fight was widely publicized because his status as a celebrity.

The family dispute was revealed after footage surfaced in July, allegedly showing Polo's mother Stacia Mac chasing her daughter Leilani while yelling and holding a handgun. She then fired shots before walking back and continuing to scream. The incident reportedly took place at Stacia's home.

Following the incident, Stacia admitted to shooting at her daughter, whom she called "manipulative." Stacia insisted that she never intended to hurt her daughter and she simply fired off warning shots in an attempt to get Leilani leave her property.

Leilani, meanwhile, denied that she leaked the video to the public and accused her mother of toxic behavior. She also accused her mother of being "so jealous of their own flesh and blood."

A few days after the footage surfaced, Stacia filed for a domestic violence restraining order against her daughter Leilani. Defending her shooting at Leilani as a "defensive action" to ensure her safety, she wanted a judge to order her daughter to steer clear of her and her homes in L.A. and Georgia.
