YSL Mondo, who co-founded YSL label, declares in a lengthy post that he's 'man enough to say I should've never spoken about the Gunna situation because technically he didn't rat.'

AceShowbiz - Gunna has found support from YSL Mondo amid snitching allegations against him. Mondo, who co-founded the YSL label, insisted that the "One of Wun" artist should have never been a rat.

Mondo offered his two cents early Sunday, August 4 morning. Taking to his Instagram Story, he stated, "I'm man enough to say I should've never spoken about the Gunna situation because technically he didn't rat."

"He just kinda folded under pressure & should've just stayed down with his mans till everything was over," he added, "cause all the originals know he ain't did nothing wasn't even around from the beginning."

"He wasn't going to do no real time regardless I feel bad cause now a n***a who literally is a real live rat running around the city getting glorified & smiling like he ain't just send multiple n***as to jail," the musical artist explained. "I was so mad & hurt at the same time that my brother going through this s**t after he turned a lot of n***as up."

Mondo went on to note, "Only reason I start talking about Gunna, but I'm a real n***a in real life ain't no mystery in my history I'm not afraid to say when I was wrong. Saying Gunna is a rat was dead a** wrong, but I can't take anything back." He further argued, "I just have to stand on what I said & take whatever comes with it. No funny s**t, I am glad Gunna out here putting the brand/label on his back."

Gunna has been accused of snitching after he pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to violate the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act on December 14. He took an Alford plea, meaning that he entered a guilty plea to the one charge while maintaining his innocence on that same charge as a form of self-preservation. He was sentenced to five years in prison, but it was commuted to time served.
