Ice-T's 8-year-old daughter, Chanel, recently had a fun day on the set of her father's hit TV show, 'Law and Order: Special Victims Unit,' and even claimed the desk of Captain Olivia Benson.

AceShowbiz - Move over, Mariska Hargitay! There's a new captain in town, and she goes by the name Chanel Nicole. The 8-year-old daughter of rapper and actor Ice-T recently took over the set of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit", leaving fans and her parents in awe of her budding talents.

On Thursday, August 2, Coco Austin, Ice-T's wife, shared a delightful video montage on Instagram capturing Chanel's exciting day on the "SVU" set. "Behind the scenes, Law & Order, someone's trying to take daddy's job," Austin teased in the video, highlighting Chanel's enthusiastic participation in various activities on set.

The video featured Chanel sitting at a desk, getting a tour of the set, watching scenes on a monitor, and even operating a camera with the help of a crew member. Chanel showcased her newfound skills as she sat confidently at her dad's "SVU" character's desk, Sergeant Odafin "Fin" Tutuola, donning headphones while watching Ice-T on screen.

In one charming snippet, Chanel claimed the desk of Mariska Hargitay's character, Olivia Benson, with a handwritten sign humorously replacing the nameplate to read "Capt. Chanel." Austin playfully captioned the post, "Oh no @babychanelnicole is taking over @nbclawandorder!! Watch out directors, camera men and even Olivia Benson's spot! Don't sleep on this chick! She does it all!"

Mariska Hargitay, although not present during the visit, cheered Chanel on in the comments, writing, "Thank God, somebody's holding down the fort!!!"

Fans quickly noticed Chanel's earnest interest and calm demeanor, predicting a bright future in entertainment for her. One Instagram user declared, "I see a future producer!" while another admired the love between Chanel and her father, saying, "I love how she looks at her father in pure admiration when he's acting, rapping, or just being dad. She is loved deeply."

Ice-T, who has been busy touring with his group Body Count, makes sure to keep his family close. He revealed to PEOPLE in an exclusive interview that this time, the family's tour bus includes not just their children but also the families of his entire crew. "Everybody goes. We have two tour buses. We have the family bus, with all the guys' wives and kids. Our front bus is very run by the women," he said.

Chanel, Ice-T and Coco Austin have clearly made an impactful visit to the SVU set, reminding fans of the close-knit bond they share and sparking excitement for Chanel's future endeavors. Fans are eagerly anticipating her next move-whether it's a producer, director or actress in the making.
