AceShowbiz - Ben Affleck is seemingly happy to go to work amid rumors of his marital woes. The actor/filmmaker looked cheerful when he arrived to his Los Angeles office on Tuesday, July 9 after spending the 4th of July holiday away from his wife Jennifer Lopez.

In photos surfacing online, the 51-year-old looked happy as he strode through the parking lot with a large iced coffee in hand. The "Argo" star flashed a smile as he looked smart in a slick suit and carried a black bag with a pair of sunglasses tucked on his shirt.

The Oscar-winning screenwriter and producer did not forget his wedding ring. Seemingly attempting to show that his marriage remains intact, he rolled down the window of his car and put his left hand out to show off the wedding band.

While Ben was spotted stepping out with his children in L.A. during the July 4th weekend, J.Lo has been spending time in New York, where she was joined by her child Emme. The singer/actress seemed to be content as well despite being separated from her husband for the weekend.

A source tells PEOPLE that the "Atlas" star "has seemed happy and peaceful during her week in the Hamptons." The source adds, "She doesn't appear upset at all."

During her time in the Hamptons, the 54-year-old was photographed shopping for plants with her manager Benny Medina, having lunch at Sant Ambroeus East Hampton and going for a bike ride with her friend and longtime vocal coach Stevie Mackey.

Ben and J.Lo, who tied the knot in Las Vegas in July 2022, have reportedly been living separately for several months now. "Ben continues to live at the Brentwood rental. He's been there for about two months now," a source told PEOPLE in June. "He seems okay. He's been at his office every day and seems focused on work. He's also spending time with his kids."

In this difficult time, Ben's ex-wife Jennifer Garner has reportedly been an "unexpected ally" for J.Lo. The "Alias" alum has "been really friendly" with the "On the Floor" hitmaker, a source tells Us Weekly, adding, "She's been helpful to J.Lo, and they've been relating to each other. Jennifer has been a surprising person for J.Lo to talk to."

The 52-year-old actress has also "been supportive" of Ben during his difficult time and "prioritizing his well-being and their co-parenting relationship," despite previous report which said that she stopped being "counselor" to Ben and J.Lo because it's "too painful."
