AceShowbiz - Travis Barker couldn't be more proud of his wife Kourtney Kardashian. The Blink-182 drummer hailed "The Kardashians" star a "beast" for competing at his 5K run called "Run Travis Run".
"My wife's a beast!" the 48-year-old rocker told Page Six. "She's never done this [before]. She thinks I'm crazy because some mornings I'll wake up and she'll be like, 'Where are you going?' I'm like, 'I heard there's a 5K, babe, I'm gonna run it.' "
"It was really cool to have her be a part of it," the musician, who welcomed son Rocky with the reality star eight months ago, gushed. "It was awesome. It was everything I imagined."
When making their entrance into the event at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California, Travis and Kourtney walked hand-in-hand. The couple, who is no stranger to packing on PDAs since they became an item, even shared kisses in front of the crowd.
Travis completed the full 3.1 miles in less than 20 minutes. He adorably watched in awe as his spouse walked the finish line with some pals.
Earlier this month, Travis detailed his and Kourtney's transition from "workout buddies" to parents. He said they used to share time running, working out, and pursuing other fitness activities before their relationship blossomed.
Their shared love for wellness extends to their daily routine. They regularly engage in Pilates together, setting aside time to "go out" and maintain their physical and mental health.
Travis credited his and Kourtney's shared interest in wellness for helping them cope with the demands of parenting their son, Rocky. They also embrace healthy eating habits, with the Poosh founder following a primarily vegan diet and introducing Travis to new plant-based foods.
