AceShowbiz - Taylor Swift may be having a bad blood with Billie Eilish. The country-turned-pop superstar is rumored to be plotting a "vicious attack" on her fellow singer amid rumors of behind-the-scenes friction between the two artists.
"Industry insiders aren't blind to the fact that Taylor is weaponizing her fans and that Billie appears to be the latest victim in that campaign," a source close to Billie told Daily Mail, claiming that it was sparked by Taylor's jealousy.
The so-called insider said the 14-time Grammy winner is "weaponizing" Swifties to turn them against Billie. "Whenever Taylor feels jealous of a peer's success, she does all she can to make sure her fans start vicious online campaigns to bring that person down without ever telling them to stop," the insider spilled. "And all while operating under the guise of being America's sweetheart."
In the meantime, "Billie doesn't want anything to do with a 'feud,' she's not interested in the drama, and she's done nothing to provoke it whatsoever," the insider claimed. "At a time when Billie is doing so well, there is no reason for her to become involved in any kind of beef."
Pointing out Taylor's past beefs with Kim Kardashian, her then-husband Kanye West as well as Scooter Braun, the source said, "This is not the first time that Taylor's fans have been used to pull someone down when their success is seen to be encroaching on hers."
"If she is really such a nice girl like she wants everyone to believe then why doesn't she speak out and stop her fans from attacking people on her behalf?" the source challenged the global superstar. "All Taylor needs to do is encourage [her fans] to spread positive messages instead of trolling and bringing others down."
Rumors of tension between Taylor and Billie have been brewing for weeks as the younger star was accused of throwing shades at the 34-year-old. The "Bad Guy" hitmaker recently "wasteful" artists who make 'f**king 40 different vinyl packages [...] just to get you to keep buying more."
Taylor currently has 11 different vinyl albums for sale on her site. She angered Billie's fans by surprise dropping three new digital versions of her latest album, "The Tortured Poets Department", on the same day as the younger singer's third studio album release.
Billie insisted she wasn't "singling anyone out," but she later made another scathing remark about artists who performed "three-hour shows" like Taylor's ongoing "Eras Tour", calling them "literally psychotic." The 22-year-old insisted, "Nobody wants that."
Taylor has not publicly responded to Billie's shady remarks.
