AceShowbiz - "Jersey Shore" star Angelina Pivarnick is facing criminal charges stemming from an incident that took place at her New Jersey home this past weekend. According to a municipal summons obtained by TMZ, the 37-year-old reality star is charged with simple assault, criminal mischief, obstructing the administration of law, and resisting arrest.

The summons reportedly does not provide further details due to confidentiality reasons. Pivarnick's fiance, Vinny Tortorella, was reportedly present at the residence at the time of the incident, but it's unclear if he was the alleged victim.

The Freehold Township Police Department has declined to discuss the case, citing legal exemptions for releasing information related to domestic violence cases and criminal investigations.

Pivarnick's attorney, James Leonard Jr., maintains that the "very minor incident" was "exacerbated by an adverse reaction to prescribed over-the-counter medication." He added, "We look forward to resolving this matter favorably and putting it behind us."

This is not the first time Pivarnick and Tortorella have had run-ins with the law. In July 2023 and November 2023, the couple was involved in domestic disputes that resulted in police being called. However, no charges were filed in either case.
Pivarnick is scheduled to appear in court next month to face the current charges.
