AceShowbiz - Justin Timberlake puts fans' safety as the top priority. The former NSYNC singer paused his performance at the Moody Center at the University of Texas in Austin on Saturday night, June 1 when he spotted a fan in need.
In a video obtained by TMZ, the singer/songwriter could be seen shouting to ask for the house lights to come up. He apologized for the other audience members for stopping, saying, "Sorry, everybody. One second, one second."
"We need some assistance right here," he added while pointing at the section where the struggling fan was seen. "About five rows back."
Thankfully, it didn't seem to be a serious incident. After the situation was handled well, fans applauded JT for his quick reaction.
Justin wasn't the only artist who stopped midway through his performance to help fans in medical situations. Recently, Taylor Swift paused her "Eras Tour" stop in Lyon, France after noticing a fan in the audience was in need.
The "Anti-Hero" hitmaker even used French language to get security's attention. Sitting in front of a piano, she asked a fan in the audience, "Do you need help?" As the fan appeared to give a nod to her question, the pop star asked the security to check the fan.
"S'il Vous Plait," the "Guilty as Sin" hitmaker said while pointing to the direction of the fan in need. "Thank you. Can we get some to go over...they're right in the front."
Taylor did a similar thing when she noticed a fan in need during a stop in Lisbon Portugal on May 24. In a viral video from the gig, the girlfriend of Travis Kelce could be heard speaking to the security guard in Portuguese, "Ajuda por favor." She added, "Help them please," while pointing in the concertgoer's direction.
