The former Danity Kane member shares her perspective on the recent allegations against the hip-hop mogul, emphasizing that justice involves protecting and supporting artists.

AceShowbiz - Aubrey O'Day, who was signed to Bad Boy Records and part of the group Danity Kane formed by Sean "P. Diddy" Combs, expressed her feelings about the accusations against Combs in an interview with PEOPLE.

She stated that she does not feel vindicated by the allegations because victimization is a continuous struggle that does not diminish with time. O'Day drew a parallel to childhood trauma, which often becomes more apparent later in life.

In September 2023, O'Day revealed that she and other previous Bad Boy artists were asked to sign NDAs prohibiting them from criticizing Combs or his label. O'Day encouraged her fellow bandmates to reject the agreement, believing it was unfair and exploitative.

As of now, Combs faces numerous lawsuits alleging abuse, sex trafficking, and other offenses. In May 2023, federal investigators announced plans to bring his accusers before a grand jury.

O'Day emphasized that justice extends beyond punishing the accused and requires creating a safe environment for artists in the music industry. She advocated for proper recognition, fair compensation, and protection against those who abuse their power.

Despite the allegations against Combs, O'Day remains focused on promoting artist safety and highlighting the systemic issues within the industry. She expressed her determination to fight for a future where artists can thrive without fear or obligation to those in positions of authority.
