Momsen took to Instagram to share her unique experience with her followers, posting footage of the bat clinging to her slip dress and her subsequent hospital visit. "He was cute, but yes he bit me," Momsen wrote, adding humor to the situation by jokingly remarking, "I must really be a witch." The hospital staff, clearly entertained by the situation, dubbed her "batgirl."
The bat bite, however, came with a more serious side effect - Momsen would need to receive rabies shots for the next two weeks. Reflecting on the incident, Momsen captioned her post, "So…ROCK AND ROLL MOMENT…in Sevilla Wednesday during 'Witches Burn' of all songs… a BAT flew onto me and clung to my leg."
This incident occurred while The Pretty Reckless was supporting AC/DC on the European leg of their "Power Up" tour, which promotes their 17th studio album. The tour kicked off in May in Germany and continued through various major cities, including Amsterdam, Vienna, Zurich, and Paris.
Earlier in the year, Momsen and her bandmates even had the honor of opening for The Rolling Stones in Las Vegas.
