Tom and Zendaya, both 27, met on the set of their "Spider-Man" trilogy and have since ignited a romance off-camera. While they have largely kept their relationship out of the spotlight, sources have revealed that marriage is a potential reality for the couple.
"They are not the kind of stars who flaunt their lives on social media," a source told PEOPLE. "Both are private and prefer to keep their relationship out of the public eye."
Their busy schedules, with Zendaya filming "Challengers" and Tom performing in "Romeo and Juliet" in London, have played a role in keeping their relationship mostly under wraps. "Work is important to both of them, and it keeps them busy right now," the source explained.
In a recent interview with Vogue, Zendaya offered a glimpse into her relationship with Tom, recalling the transition he faced to fame with the release of "Spider-Man: Homecoming" in 2017.
"We were both very young, but his career changed overnight," she said. "I watched his life change in front of him, but he handled it beautifully."
Despite the challenges of being in the public eye, the couple's bond remains strong. "Zendaya and Tom started as friends before things turned romantic," an insider previously told Us Weekly. "He makes her laugh, and she helps guide him through the world of celebrity."
