The 40-year-old emcee, who was a special treat for the second-weekend fans, broke his foot when performing at the overflowing Sahara tent crowd on Sunday afternoon.

AceShowbiz - Kid Cudi has shared more updates on his condition after breaking his foot at the 2024 Coachella. In a video shared to his online devotees, the emcee could be seen poking fun at himself when addressing the incident.

"S**t got real yesterday," the hip-hop artist, born Scott Ramon Seguro Mescudi, said in a video posted on X, formerly Twitter. He added while laughing in the Monday, April 22 post, "This is what happens when a 40-year-old man tries to prance around onstage like he's 26 like he used to do back in the day."

Admitting that he has 'learned a valuable lesson," Cudi declared there will be "no more prancing around, jumping off stages." He further noted, "I'm hoping that I'll be healed up in time for tour...I don't want to let you guys down."

Cudi, who was a special treat for the second-weekend fans, played to an overflowing Sahara tent crowd on Sunday afternoon. He was performing "Memories" when he tried to jump down from the stage to get closer to the audience.

In a video taken by one of the festivalgoers, the "Day 'n' Nite" hitmaker seemed to wobble at the edge of the stage before taking the leap. However, he appeared to make a wrong landing as he looked hurt and wasn't able to get back on his feet.

Several crew members immediately came to the rescue. Cudi ended up being escorted off by two men as he was not able to put weight on his leg. The set, which was already well into its 40-minute run time, was ended early with one-and-a-half songs remaining in his allotted time.

The crowd was treated to a recording of his biggest hit "Pursuit of Happiness" to close out the set. Most of them not aware that Cudi had been hurt and was no longer on stage.
