AceShowbiz - Megan Fox has social media users come to her defense following backlash over her recent post. After receiving unpleasant comments on her makeup-free photo, the "Transformers" actress was supported by many.
On Wednesday, April 17, the 37-year-old actress embraced her face sans makeup as seen in a mirror selfie that she uploaded on her Instagram page. In the photo, it could be seen that she confidently showed off her face despite not covering it with makeup. Her skin looked flawless as her lips appeared healthy and glowing.
Megan was photographed striking a pose in front of a huge mirror in what appeared to be her bathroom. While showing a stern facial expression, she looked straight at the camera without flashing her smile. In the meantime, one of her hands was holding her smartphone.
Aside from her makeup-free face, Megan flaunted her stomach. She opted to wear an abs-baring outfit, consisting of a black bra top, which came with two straps, and a pair of black pants with red checkered patterns on them. In addition, her long bubblegum blue hair, which cascaded down her tummy, was styled in waves and parted in the middle.
The "Expend4bles" actress was promoting hair care products that she has been using. In the same post, she let out another photo featuring the products. Along with the photos, she wrote in the caption, "Repairing my hair (and 26 inches of extensions) post coachella. @wellahairusa #wellapartner #ad."
After sharing the photos, Megan got mixed comments from Instagram users. Some of them suggested that she looked unrecognizable in the selfie, with one claiming that she looked like reality TV star Kim Kardashian. Meanwhile, another accused Megan of using AI to create the mirror selfie. In the meantime, a third shockingly asked, "Are you pregnant?!"
Though so, Megan was quickly defended by other users. One in particular gushed, "Megan can't do anything without people tearing her apart. Do your thing girl you're f**king fabulous." Another blasted the critics, "This whole comment section is spam and or trolls and it's embarrassing. She looks gorgeous." A third noted, "The hate shes getting against not wearing making is CRAZY. ur gorgeous, and look like a real woman."
