After making headlines with her scathing message about the late star following his death, the retired Olympian slams people who said that she's just like the former NFL star.

AceShowbiz - Caitlyn Jenner insisted that her deadly car crash wasn't comparable with O.J. Simpson's alleged crimes. After making headlines with her scathing message about the late star following his death, the retired Olympian made use of her X account to slam people who said that she was just like him.

"I know you all think it's cute to compare a fatal car accident (with multiple vehicles involved) to a BRUTAL MURDER…," so the former spouse of Kris Jenner wrote on the app, formerly known as Twitter, on Friday, April 12. "But Remember… OJ said something to the effect of… I could kill her (Nicole) and get away with it bc I'm #OJSimpson."

Caitlyn, who recently labeled O.J.'s death a "good riddance," was referring to the car accident taking place in 2015 that killed one person. The stepchildren of the victim, Kim Howe, filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" alum in 2017, accusing her of being "careless, negligent and reckless."

Meanwhile, Caitlyn has been public with her insistence that O.J. was responsible for the murder of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and waiter Ron Goldman in June 1994. In 2021, she alleged in an episode of the Australian TV show "Big Brother VIP" that O.J. had once told Nicole Brown that he wouldn't get into trouble even after he ended her life.

"Obviously he did it, and he got away with it, and at one point he even told Nicole, 'I'll kill you and get away with it, 'cause I'm O.J. Simpson," she said in the episode.

Following an intense trial dubbed "The Trial of the Century", O.J. was acquitted of the murders. The NFL star was later found liable for the deaths of Nicole and Goldman following a civil trial in 1997.
