The 'Dance Moms' alum regrets having then-girlfriend move in with her when she was just a teen, saying it's unhealthy and warning fans not to make the same mistake as her.

AceShowbiz - JoJo Siwa, the former child star, has shared her perspective on moving in with a significant other as a teenager.

During an appearance on the "Call Her Daddy" podcast, Siwa recounted living with her parents and her then-girlfriend, Kylie Prew, when she was 17. She attributed their unconventional living arrangement to the COVID-19 pandemic and the desire to avoid a long-distance relationship.

Looking back, Siwa believes that the situation "should've never happened." She and her mother both acknowledge that allowing a 16-year-old to live with her partner was unhealthy.

Siwa described the experience as being like "a married couple at 17 and 16." She and Prew ultimately broke up, a decision she now supports.

"As a 20-year-old, I look at 16-year-olds and I'm like, 'Oh my God. You are the age that my girlfriend was when she moved into my house,' " Siwa said. "Like, clearly U-Haul lesbians are a very real thing because I was one without even knowing what one was."

Siwa's reflection serves as a cautionary tale for young people. She strongly advises against moving in with a partner at such a young age, emphasizing that it's not healthy for either party.

In a separate interview with People, Siwa revealed that she met Prew on a cruise in 2020 and that they went public with their relationship in February 2021. They dated for nine months before splitting in October of that year and reconciled in April 2022. They officially confirmed their second breakup in June 2022 on Instagram.

Since then, Siwa has dated TikTok creator Avery Cyrus for three months before breaking up in December 2022. She has also recently launched a new era with her single "Karma," marking a significant change in her image and musical style.
