In a new interview discussing various topics including her marriage to her actor husband, the filmmaker admits that the attention they get can be 'uncomfortable' sometimes.

AceShowbiz - Director Sam Taylor-Johnson, 57, has shared her perspective on the scrutiny surrounding her 24-year age difference marriage with actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson, 33.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Taylor-Johnson admitted that the attention can be "uncomfortable." She said, "Most of the time we zone it out and stay pretty private. Kids and school runs keep you pretty grounded."

Sam and Aaron met on the set of her 2009 film "Nowhere Boy", where Aaron, then 18, played John Lennon. They began dating and got married in 2012. They have two daughters together, Wylda and Romy, while Sam has two daughters from her first marriage.

Despite the age gap, Sam says their children are unfazed. "They see two loving, happy parents so it doesn't really register," she told The Guardian.

However, she acknowledges that the online comments about their relationship can get "abusive." "It doesn't deter me from using social media," she said, "but it does mean that my kids see it."

Aaron defended his marriage in a recent interview with Rolling Stone U.K.. "What you gotta realize is that what most people were doing in their 20s, I was doing when I was 13," he said. "You're doing something too quickly for someone else? I don't understand that. What speed are you supposed to enjoy life at? It's bizarre to me."

Despite the challenges, Sam and Aaron remain devoted to each other. "You're an exceptional woman," Aaron wrote in a tribute to his wife on Instagram. "You are the most wonderful doting mother and beautiful role model to our 4 daughters."
