AceShowbiz - Travis Kelce is marking a fresh start in his career with a new haircut. The NFL player has gotten a fresh cut for the filming of "Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?", which will mark his game show host debut.
On Tuesday, April 9, his barber Patrick Regan took to his Instagram Stories to share pictures of him giving the athlete a haircut. He gave a look at his client's new look, which appears to be a shorter version of his signature buzz cut. The front appears to be the same fade style.
Patrick tagged Travis and wrote, "showtime ready," over it. He also shared a behind-the-scenes photo of the process, showing the Kansas City Chiefs tight end wearing a custom white Chiefs cape emblazoned with his jersey number.
The photos appeared to be taken in Los Angeles as the barber also shared footage of himself flying from Fort Lauderdale, Florida to L.A., California, where the game show reboot is filming.
Travis' new game show, which is based on "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?", will feature contestants facing off against a panel of three stars as they answer trivia questions. The new show will air on Amazon Prime Video.
"He's funny and has the wits for it," a source said of the athlete earlier this month. "He's the perfect host. It's a great gig for him." Travis was scheduled to film several episodes back-to-back in California, where he has been spending his off-season with girlfriend Taylor Swift.
Recently, a fan posted a behind-the-scenes look at Travis hosting one episode with one of the guests appearing to be former Washington Commanders quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick. No premiere date is set just yet for the new series.
