Among nine famous diss tracks mentioned, some of the songs are so successful that they landed at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart following their releases.

AceShowbiz - Musicians often express their feelings in their work. Whether it's love, heartbreak, joy or anger, they have the freedom to pour their hearts out on their music that sometimes results in diss tracks.

Not holding their emotions back, many artists have channeled their resentment toward fellow celebrities through their songs. While some are brave enough to mention their enemies' monikers, others would get cryptic by dropping clues about their rivals. In some cases, this may prompt the rivals to hit back by releasing their own diss songs.

Perhaps intrigued by the spats between famous public figures, melomaniacs are drawn to listen to diss tracks, which help boost their ranks on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. From a pop star's diss songs to that of rappers, here are 8 diss tracks of the decade that have landed on the chart.

Taylor Swift and Kendrick Lamar joined forces to create a collaborative single titled "Bad Blood", which was released back in 2014. One year later, the song, which is featured in her album "1989", reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

On the song, the "All Too Well" hitmaker threw shade at fellow songstress Katy Perry over their friendship that had gone sour and "left a really deep cut." On it, she sings, "Band-aids don't fix bullet holes/ You say sorry just for show/ If you live like that, you live with ghosts."

Eminem is no stranger to diss tracks. In 2018, the spitter launched "Killshot", which quickly made its debut at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The diss song was created as a response to Machine Gun Kelly's "Rap Devil" that was dropped earlier that year. The two were feuding following MGK's comment on Eminem's then-16-year-old daughter.

On the song, Eminem raps, "So what good is a f**kin' machine gun when it's out of ammo/ Had enough of this tatted-up mumble rapper/ How the f**k can him and I battle/ He'll have to f**k Kim in my flannel/ I'll give him my sandals/ Cause he knows long as I'm Shady, he's gon' have to live in my shadow."
