Boosie Badazz Shows Remorse After Blasting LSU Player in Racial Comments

The Baton Rouge rapper takes to his Instagram account to share a video in which he apologizes to basketball athlete Hailey Van Lith for his racially-charged comments.

AceShowbiz - Boosie Badazz (Lil Boosie) expressed regret after attacking an LSU player in his recent online rant. On Thursday, April 4, the Baton Rouge rapper took to his Instagram account to share a video in which he apologized to athlete Hailey Van Lith for his racially-charged comments.

"Hey, I want to apologize to Hailey Van Lith," so he said in the clip, which was taken inside his car. "That's my bad. I got in my feelings. I really wanted y'all to win, man."

He stressed, "I shouldn't have said what I said." The "Wipe Me Down" spitter then extended his apology to LSU, saying, "I apologize to you and to LSU. I mean, that's all I can say, I got in my feelings. Really wanted y'all to beat Iowa."

In the caption, Boosie once again admitted, "MY BAD !!I WAS WRONG FA DAT." Fans, meanwhile, applauded Boosie for his move with one saying in the comments section, "Boo that's a super real man move much respect For That." Echoing the sentiment, one other wrote, "It takes a real man or woman to admit when they are wrong."

"When money involved everybody feelings get hurt ! I understand BOO, you took accountability that's all that really matters," another added. However, some others pointed out that his apology was too late because Hailey has entered the NCAA transfer portal for the second time within a year.

Prior to this, Boosie criticized Hailey for her performance during a game against Iowa during the NCAA tournament. "Our white girl was scared to death of Clark," Boosie wrote in a since-deleted post on X, referring to Iowa star Caitlin Clark. "Why was she guarding her in the first place? We gotta do some serious recruiting next year."

During the game, which ended with LSU's 87-94 loss to Iowa, Hailey played 30 minutes. The athlete, who transferred from Louisville to LSU in 2023, scored nine points to go along with a single assist and single rebound.
