When having a discussion on the 'Dear Felicity' podcast with host Greg Grunberg, the actress shares her memorable experience auditioning for her 'Felicity' series.

AceShowbiz - Jennifer Garner has shared her memorable experience auditioning for the WB's "Felicity". Recalling the emotional intensity of the audition, Garner revealed that she had to retreat to the bathroom to continue crying after the scene.

"The scene was so emotional and I needed to cry," Garner said during an appearance on The Ringer's "Dear Felicity" podcast. "I needed to hide in the bathroom stall and finish the cry that I started in the audition."

Co-creator J.J. Abrams asked Garner to re-audition for the role, a request that prompted a humorous response from podcast host Greg Grunberg, who played Sean Blumberg in the series.

Garner, who values constructive criticism, expressed her appreciation for Abrams' and Matt Reeves' guidance as directors. "They are helpful and they are true directors," she said. "They aren't just like, 'Okay, that seems fine. You have another one in you?' "

Garner's audition performance impressed Abrams, leading her to land the role of Hannah Bibb, Noel Crane's hometown girlfriend. Garner's character made a significant impact, and she returned for the show's alternate universe arc in season 4.

After her time on "Felicity", Garner went on to star as the lead in Abrams' hit series "Alias". From 2001 to 2006, she played Sydney Bristow, an undercover spy for a secret branch of the CIA. The action-packed series garnered Garner critical acclaim and solidified her status as a leading lady.

To this day, Garner remains close with her "Alias" castmates, including Bradley Cooper, Victor Garber and Ron Rifkin. Despite fans' persistent questions about a potential reboot, Abrams has expressed little interest in revisiting the beloved series.

Garner's emotional audition for "Felicity" paved the way for her successful career. Her commitment to her craft and her willingness to embrace constructive feedback have propelled her to become one of Hollywood's most respected actresses.
