The 'Cocoa Butter Kisses' rapper announces he has decided to part ways with his wife after five years of marriage and two children together, insisting their separation is 'amicable.'

AceShowbiz - Chance the Rapper and his wife, Kirsten Corley, have announced their divorce after five years of marriage. The couple shared a joint statement on Instagram on April 3, revealing their decision to "part ways" amicably.

"After a period of separation, the two of us have arrived at the decision to part ways," the statement read. "We came to this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together."

The pair met at the tender age of nine and began dating in 2013. They welcomed their first child, Kensli, in 2015, and their second, Marli, in 2019, the same year they exchanged vows in Newport Beach, California.

Despite their long history, the couple had faced some challenges in recent years. In 2023, videos of Chance dancing with women at Jamaica's carnival went viral, prompting scrutiny of his marital behavior.

He was also discovered to have been liking trans porn content. However, Corley defended her husband, claiming that it was accidental. "So all y'all little trolls coming for my page, that are getting blocked, y'all can go to hell," she fumed.

In the joint statement, Chance and Corley emphasized their commitment to co-parenting their daughters. "God has blessed us with two beautiful daughters who we will continue to raise together," they wrote.

They also requested privacy as they navigate this transition. "We kindly ask for your privacy and respect as we navigate this transition," the statement concluded. "Thank you - Chance & Kirsten."
