On Instagram, King shared glimpses of his party, featuring friends, music, and a sparkling silver shirt adorned with a diamond chain. He even had a woman sitting on his lap as he reveled in the celebration.
Despite the grand festivities, King's birthday bash took place in the wake of federal agents raiding his father's Los Angeles and Miami estates. Last week, both King and his brother, Justin Combs, were briefly handcuffed outside of Diddy's Holmby Hills property.
However, King's jubilant mood seemed to defy the recent legal storm facing the Combs family. In a photo of his birthday cake, he captioned it, "It's lit."
Diddy himself did not attend his son's party, as he has remained in Miami since the raids. He recently shared photos of his 3-month-old daughter, Love, on Easter.
He wants his children to be "worry-free" amid the chaos. "He's not the type to let any drama affect his children. He wants his children to be worry-free and happy. He has trust in his legal team," a source told PEOPLE.
