The 78-year-old actress took to social media platform to share her desire to join the Bravo series, prompting a response from the Bravo executive producer.

AceShowbiz - Bette Midler has expressed her desire to join the cast of Bravo's "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills".

The 78-year-old actress took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) over the weekend, asking her followers, "Is it too late for me to become a Real Housewife of Beverly Hills?"

"I've never watched it, but I am in the mood to talk some s**t. And to get paid for it? A dream!" she added, using the hashtag #RHOBH.

The official Bravo X account quickly responded, "Talk about a glorious crossover," along with a winking emoji and a diamond.

Bravo Executive Vice President of Development Andy Cohen chimed in as well, writing, "It's time!" and adding a diamond emoji.

Midler continued the playful banter, suggesting that her tagline should be, "Those Beaches don't know what's about to hit 'em!!" in a nod to her 1988 film "Beaches."

Following the lighthearted exchange, Midler returned to X on Sunday to share a humorous Easter post, referencing "Beaches" once more by sharing a photo of herself in a bunny costume.

"Happy Easter! listen, it's nice that you want to leave out a couple of carrots for the Easter Bunny. But I heard she prefers gin," she wrote.

RHOBH has previously featured cameos from celebrities such as Jamie Lee Curtis, Paris Hilton, and Kris Jenner. Midler's potential appearance on the show would undoubtedly generate buzz and create an entertaining storyline.

Midler has had a successful career in film, music, and theater, but she has also turned down notable roles in the past. She revealed that she declined an offer to star in "Sister Act" due to her fear of wearing a nun's habit. "Jeffrey Katzenberg called me every day, 'Please, please.' But I stood my ground," she said.

Despite her regret over missing out on certain opportunities, Midler remains grateful for her accomplishments. "I’ve run the gamut," she said. "It’s been a blast."
