AceShowbiz - Bandman Kevo is mourning the death of his son. The Chicago rapper shocked everyone with the sad news of his son Kevian's tragic passing on Sunday, March 31 as he is seeking answers regarding the situation surrounding the teen's death.
The 34-year-old influencer took to social media on Easter to break the news. Along with a picture of his 15-year-old son, he simply wrote, "Rest In Power." In a separate Story, he reposted a post that said his son was gunned down in Michigan earlier on Sunday.
Despite the reports, Bandman Kevo apparently knew very little about details surrounding his son's death. He wrote that he "can't get a hold" of his son's mother. In a separate Story, he appealed to the public for assistance in finding answers regarding the incident. "Anybody in kalamazoo know anything about my son death dm me now," he wrote, adding a money bag emoji.
Speaking to The Shade Room, Bandman Kevo said he has heard mixed reports about the passing of his young son and is unsure of exactly what happened. He claimed since hearing the news about his son's passing, he has not been able to get in contact with Kevian's mother.
The rapper said his relationship with his son was a bit rocky as Kevian's mother did not want Bandman Kevo to become part of Kevian's life. Bandman Kevo said he paid child support but believes the mom did not give the son the money he would need to live a stable life.
Prayers have since poured in for the grieving father, with one social media user writing, "Absolutely heartbreaking to hear. My deepest condolences go out to Bandman Kevo and his family during this incredibly difficult time. Losing a loved one, especially at such a young age, is truly devastating. Sending thoughts of strength and support their way."
"This happens everyday and it's sad everytime I hear a young teen gets shot and killed. How can your dad be Bandman and u still in the streets smh," a second person penned. A third added, "Damn no father should bury their son. Prayers and condolences to the family. Damn.... Losing your kid on resurrection day."
