AceShowbiz - Kyle Richards is finding solace in her sister, Kathy Hilton, as she navigates her separation from husband Mauricio Umansky. "We are in a very good place," she said.
During a recent episode of "Let's Talk Off Camera," Richards expressed that Hilton has been "very supportive" during this challenging time. "She will call me, text me and [say], 'I just love you and I'm here for you no matter what. You're always my baby sister,' " Richards said.
Hilton's support extended beyond words. After the emotional finale episode of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," she left a voicemail for Richards, sharing her concern and love. "She was hysterically crying and she just said, you know, 'I love you and I want to make sure you're okay,' " Richards recalled.
However, Richards' comments about Hilton during the season raised worries that their repaired relationship might be damaged. She reached out to Hilton and her daughters, explaining that her words were made prior to their reconciliation.
Meanwhile, Kathy Hilton appeared on the "RHOBH" reunion and offered a surprising perspective on Richards' separation. She suggested that Richards had been considering it for several years.
Despite the family drama between their husbands, Mauricio Umansky and Rick Hilton, Kyle Richards and Kathy Hilton remain close. They attended Oscars events together, exchanged social media love on Hilton's birthday, and appeared at the People's Choice Awards last month.
However, Umansky's recent comments about his departure from Rick Hilton's real estate brokerage, Hilton & Hyland, stirred controversy. Umansky alleged that he was mistreated by the firm, leading to a rift in the family.
Rick Hilton has not publicly responded to these claims, but his daughter Paris Hilton has fiercely come to his defense. She said, "My father is a consummate gentleman and has always taken the higher road. He would never speak negatively about his family- especially in the press. Frankly we are all sick of him using the Hilton name every chance he gets to plug his lame show. It is enough already."
Nevertheless, Kyle Richards and Kathy Hilton seem to have overcome these challenges and maintain a strong bond.
