The 'Yellowjackets' actress gets candid about the challenges she's facing as a working mom, admitting she had 'no bond' with her baby daughter as she's busy filming her TV show.

AceShowbiz - Actress Christina Ricci candidly shared her difficulties balancing work and family during the filming of "Yellowjackets" Season 2. The intense shooting schedule in Vancouver kept her away from her infant daughter, Cleopatra, resulting in a lack of bonding.

"Last year, I was commuting back and forth to Vancouver for 'Yellowjackets.' She didn't know me. We had no bond. So that was very upsetting," she revealed.

Ricci also discussed the financial burden of traveling with her family. As a series regular, she is responsible for all expenses, including flights and accommodations, making it prohibitively expensive to bring everyone along.

Despite her struggles, Ricci tries to maintain a work-life balance. She involves her 9-year-old son, Freddie, in her work by bringing him to conventions and events. However, she acknowledges that this is more challenging with Cleopatra, who is still very young.

Ricci also shared her parenting experiences. She said her ex-husband was not supportive when Freddie was a baby, leading her to co-sleep with him. In contrast, her current husband, Mark Hampton, has been a tremendous help, providing nighttime care for Cleopatra.

"I went and shot 'Wednesday' in Romania when she was 2 months old, and Mark did every single night, all night long. Like, I just slept and worked the next day, and it made such a huge difference. It was so much easier this time around. You know, you have to have a good, supportive partner," she said.
