AceShowbiz - Jennifer Lopez appeared to have had a blast during a fun outing with one of her children. The "On The Floor" songstress shared via social media a glimpse of her date night with Emme in New York City.

On Monday, March 25, the 54-year-old songstress made use of her Instagram page to upload a series of photos and a video highlighting the activities that she did one day prior. Some of the pictures showed that she took her 16-year-old child to watch a Broadway musical titled "Merrily We Roll Along" at the Hudson Theater in the Big Apple.

One of the snaps saw Jennifer sharing a tight hug with Emme. The two were photographed embracing each other as the child placed their head on their mother's upper chest. In the meantime, the singer wrapped her arms around Emme's back and looked in another direction while flashing her radiant smile.

During the fun night out, Jennifer and Emme were able to meet some of the Broadway musical's actors. Another photo captured Emme striking a pose with Jonathan Groff. Emme and Jonathan were standing close next to each other and sharing a friendly hug while smiling from ear-to-ear to the camera.

Emme did not forget to also pose for group photos with other actors of the play, as documented in a video in the same post. Along with the snaps and short clip, Jennifer wrote in the caption, "A Merry Sunday @merrilyonbway."

For the special occasion, Jennifer opted to wear what appeared to be a green shirt dress. The clothing piece, which made her look vibrant, came with two loose long sleeves and a high neck design. She accessorized herself with a bracelet, a number of gold rings and a pair of shades. In addition, her long brown hair was styled in an up-do with her bangs parted in the middle.

As for Emme, they rocked a short-sleeved black button-up shirt that had a number of white buttons. To complete the look, the child, whom the "Let's Get Loud" songstress shares with her former husband Marc Anthony, put on a pair of clear black-framed glasses and simple black earrings.
