The Duchess of York, who revealed her skin cancer diagnosis in January after battling breast cancer last year, speaks out after the Princess of Wales got candid with her health issues.

AceShowbiz - Sarah Ferguson has broken her silence on Kate Middleton's health issues. Following the Princess of Wales' cancer diagnosis, the ex-wife of Prince Andrew took to her Instagram account to send prayers for Kate.

"All my thoughts and prayers are with the Princess of Wales as she starts her treatment," Fergie, who revealed her skin cancer diagnosis in January after battling breast cancer last year, wrote on Monday, March 25. "I know she will be surrounded by the love of her family and everyone is praying for the best outcome."

"As someone who has faced their own battles with cancer in recent months, I am full of admiration for the way she has spoken publicly about her diagnosis and know it will do a tremendous amount of good to raise awareness," the Duchess of York added. "I hope she will now be given the time, space, and privacy to heal."

Shutting down the wild conspiracy theories about her, Kate opened up about her health issues in a personal video shared on Friday, March 22. She revealed that following an abdominal surgery in January, she was diagnosed with cancer.

"This of course came as a huge shock, and William and I have been doing everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family," Kate, who is now undergoing preventative chemotherapy, shared. The 42-year-old royal added that she's "well and getting stronger every day."

The mom of three continued, "But, most importantly, it has taken us time to explain everything to George, Charlotte and Louis in a way that is appropriate for them, and to reassure them that I am going to be OK."

Kate isn't the only royal family member who is battling cancer. Back in February, Buckingham Palace announced that King Charles III is fighting his own cancer battle. "During The King's recent hospital procedure for benign prostate enlargement, a separate issue of concern was noted," the palace shared in a statement at the time. "Subsequent diagnostic tests have identified a form of cancer.

"His Majesty has today commenced a schedule of regular treatments, during which time he has been advised by doctors to postpone public-facing duties. Throughout this period, His Majesty will continue to undertake State business and official paperwork as usual," the palace added.
