Gary Goldsmith is being lambasted by royalists because of the comments he's given about his royal niece in an interview filmed before her cancer announcement.

AceShowbiz - Kate Middleton's uncle, Gary Goldsmith, has issued an apology following controversial remarks he made about his niece and her family.
In an interview published on Saturday, March 23, Goldsmith hinted that Middleton and Prince William were facing relationship issues. He also referred to Meghan Markle as "Laughing Girl" and criticized her behavior.
Goldsmith acknowledged that his comments came at an inappropriate time, as Middleton had recently announced her cancer diagnosis. "My thoughts and prayers are with Kate and the wider family at this difficult time," he wrote in a statement on X. "I deeply upset at the timing of this article."
Goldsmith's remarks drew anger from royal watchers, who accused him of being disrespectful and insensitive.
"I think you need to read the room," one user commented on Goldsmith's apology post. "A grand total of no one has seen, or will see the article. It's probably best to just stay quiet and dignified."
Another user accused Goldsmith of "constantly" discussing Middleton and suggested that he "stop using them to try and make yourself relevant."
