AceShowbiz - Draya Michele is not okay amid her pregnancy with Jalen Green's baby. The reality TV star has gotten candid about her struggle following backlash over her age gap with her 22-year-old boyfriend.
The model took to her Instagram Story on Thursday, March 14, to share that she has been "struggling to breathe." She wrote, "I feel like I am at the bottom of a pile of heavy humans. Most hours of the day I feel like I am struggling to breathe."
Many believed that Draya's struggle has had anything to do with the criticisms leveled at her over her relationship with Jalen. After her Story was reposted on The Shade Room's page, some users expressed their concerns for her.
"I hope she is ok...she is really being bullied by 90 percent of social media....she is still human and I'm sure very emotional due to her pregnancy at the end of the day!" a supporter reacted to Draya's Story. Another defended the expectant star, "It's 2024 and we still treating celebrities and popular media figures like if they're some different humans who can't make mistakes or do regular shit that your mothers sisters uncles grandparents be doing . She is human. Yall so hateful with these unwarranted comments."
"I feel bad for her. She needs to take a social media break. Have someone else handle all of the social media business," a third weighed in. Someone else similarly advised Draya, "To protect her and the baby, she should stop the interviews, and take a break from social media. If you have to post, turn off comments."
Draya has been heavily criticized after she confirmed her pregnancy on International Women's Day earlier this month. She later seemed to respond to the criticism as she reposted a quote about being misunderstood on her Story. "Get comfortable being misunderstood," it read. "Only a fraction of people will be able your essence. You are not on anyone else's timeline of comprehension. Also, it's none of your business how others chose to perceive you. Most high see you clearly, let that be enough."
While Jalen remains quiet, he has shown his love for his girlfriend. Recently, the NBA star debuted his tattoo tribute for his soon-to-be baby mama. On his Instagram Story photo posted on Wednesday, he was seen having a tattoo of Draya's name on his lower stomach. The ink was written in small cursive print under another tattoo that read, "Believe in yourself."
