The 'Vanderpump Rules' star declares that she believes she can have another child despite not having a partner by finding 'a different route' that she 'can take.'

AceShowbiz - Lala Kent has announced that she is undergoing IUI, intrauterine insemination, to conceive her second child. The "Vanderpump Rules" star explained how she made the decision to do so after her messy split from Randall Emmett.

The 33-year-old TV personality opened up about her IUI process for the first time in a new interview published on Tuesday, January 30. Speaking to Cosmopolitan, she said, "When I had my life go in a very different direction, I knew I wanted more kids."

Lala went on to state, "It was such a strange thing that was happening because everyone would tell me, 'You're going to find somebody.' And I got to thinking, 'Why does my wanting more children need to involve another person?' I think if there's a will, there's a way. I knew a donor was an option, and I knew IUI was an option."

The reality TV star elaborated, "I felt this need to start talking about it because there are women out in the world who sit there and wait for a man to come into the picture and are just yearning for children even though there is another way to get pregnant. If you want children and are only waiting for 'that person' to come into your life, let's talk about a different route that we can take."

About deciding to undergo IUI, Lala shared, "I was really open to anything, but because I didn't have a problem getting pregnant the first time with my daughter Ocean, for me, I was open to the IUI route given how much I loved being pregnant and wanted to experience that again. Back then, I figured, 'Well, if we hit a wall, we can take the IVF route.' And then if that didn’t work, I’d venture into adoption. There was nothing off the table."

During the chat, Lala also spilled that she is "in the process of tracking my periods and ovulation days" and "in close connection with" her fertility specialist. She stated, "We've got all our ducks in a row. The donor is secured, which I'm super excited about."

"It took a really long time to find the donor because, you know, it's strange," she further admitted. "It's like you're shopping for your partner but only to have a child, so there's a lot that goes into it. But the moment I found this donor, it just spoke to me. He felt like my baby daddy. So that's where we're at. The moment I can go forward with the IUI, then we'll be there."

The revelation came a few years after Lala called it quits with Randall. The two ended their engagement in October 2021. She and her former fiance welcomed their daughter Ocean in March 2021.
